Which one sounds like you?
Same five steps either way. What changes is why it’s worth your time.
Got the skills. Need the work.
You were never worried about doing the job. The hard part was finding the people who need it done — and getting paid without chasing somebody for a month.
Jobs near you land in your feed as they’re posted. You send your price. If they pick you, you do the work and the money’s already waiting. No cold calls, no flyers on the noticeboard, no racing anyone to the bottom.
Already running it? Bring it with you.
You’ve got the truck, the name, and more work than you can quote properly from the front seat at seven in the morning.
GetHandy is the part you never got around to buying. Quotes that look like a business sent them. Every booked job in one place instead of in your head. Messages in one thread per customer. And payment that starts moving the moment the customer signs off, landing in your bank within a few business days.
It costs nothing. The new customers are the bonus, not the pitch.

01Browse jobs nearby
Jobs posted around you, with photos, as they come in. Further-out ones show in their own nearby section.
02Quote a flat price
You name the number. One price for the whole job — no hourly rate to justify, no bidding war.
03The customer picks
They choose on your profile, rating, past work and price. Their payment is already collected and held.
04Do the work
Chat, share photos, mark it done — all in the app, so there’s one record if anything is questioned.
05Get paid
Earnings are held briefly for protection, then sent to your bank — usually within a few business days. You keep 100% of your quote.
So what does it cost you? Nothing.
No signup fee. No monthly fee. No cut taken off your quote. The customer pays the platform fee on top of your price, which means you receive 100% of the number you quoted — every time, on every job.
We only make money when you get paid. That’s the only arrangement that makes any sense.

The questions providers actually ask
Closed by default, so they never get in the way of somebody who just wanted the gist.
What does it cost me?
Nothing. No signup fee, no monthly fee, and no cut taken off your quote. The customer pays the platform fee on top of your price, so you receive 100% of the number you quoted. We only make money when you get paid.
How long does it take to get on?
The application takes about 10 minutes, and we review it within 1–2 business days. You’ll be told the moment you’re approved. Everything runs in your browser — there’s nothing to download.
I already run a business. Why would I want this?
For the paperwork, mostly. Quotes, schedule, messages and payment in one place, free, instead of spread across your phone, your notebook and your bank app. New customers come with it, but if you’re already busy, the honest reason to sign up is that you’ll stop chasing invoices.
When exactly do I get paid?
The customer’s payment is collected and held before you start, so it’s never a question of whether they’ll pay. When they approve the finished work, your earnings are held briefly for protection and then sent to your bank automatically — usually landing within a few business days. Nothing to invoice and nothing to chase. If you’d rather not wait, you can set up instant cash-out to a debit card for a small fee.
What if the customer just goes quiet after I finish?
They don’t get to sit on it. On most jobs a 48-hour review window starts when you mark the work done, and if they haven’t approved or raised a problem by then, the payment releases on its own.
What work can I take, and how far do I have to travel?
You set both. You choose the services you offer and the area you cover, and you can widen or narrow how far the feed looks whenever you like. Jobs a bit further out aren’t hidden — they show up in their own nearby section, so you can take one if it’s worth the drive or scroll straight past it. Nothing is ever assigned to you.
