Yes, every GetHandy provider completes our verification process, which includes identity verification and background checks. GetHandy has a satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right, contact us within 24 hours and we'll work with you and the provider to make it right. This might mean a partial refund, a redo of the work, or a credit for future bookings. We want every experience to build trust in local services.

How much can I earn with GetHandy?+
Your earnings depend on the services you offer, your rates, and how much you work. Many GetHandy providers earn $30–75/hour depending on the service type. You set your own rates and availability. There are no caps on how much you can earn, and we pay out every Friday.
What are GetHandy's platform fees?+
GetHandy charges a transparent platform fee that's shown upfront before you accept any job. There are no hidden fees, no surprise deductions, and no fees for signing up. You keep the majority of every job, and we handle payment processing, customer support, and marketing.
Do I need insurance to be a GetHandy provider?+
We recommend providers carry appropriate insurance for their trade, but it's not required for all service types. For services like cleaning and babysitting, insurance is optional. For trades work like electrical or plumbing, you should have proper licensing and insurance. We'll discuss this during onboarding.
What areas can I serve as a provider?+
You define your service area when you set up your profile. You can choose specific cities, towns, or set a radius from your home base. Many providers in rural Saskatchewan serve multiple communities. You can adjust your service area anytime.
